Ahmed grew up in Alexandria, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electronics and Communications. His early work on optical systems, including a laser range finder project, showed a clear interest in using technology to solve real problems.

As his career progressed, he explored the business side of innovation. He completed a Diploma in Business Administration from Nottingham Business School and later joined the Management Acceleration program at INSEAD in France. Currently, he is also preparing his Doctorate in Business Administration at the International Business Academy of Switzerland, expanding his academic perspective while deepening his strategic approach.

This path formed a leader who understands how organizations think and how technology fits into their goals. It also supported his recognition as a Certified Consultant in Saudi Arabia, a credential that carries weight across both the healthcare and business communities in the Kingdom.

Leading Digital Health Transformation

Today, Ahmed serves as the Associate Sales Director for Digital Health Solutions at IQVIA in Saudi Arabia. He leads the company’s portfolio across Public & Provider Government (PPG), Real-World Technology (RWT), and Commercial Technology, driving adoption of AI-enabled systems, telehealth platforms, and real-time location solutions. His role spans strategy, partnerships, and executive-level engagement, with a focus on delivering measurable impact in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

His leadership is hands-on and human-centered. By mentoring teams and coaching sales professionals, he ensures that technology adoption translates into real improvements for healthcare providers and patients alike. Under Ahmed’s guidance, digital health initiatives are not only implemented but also integrated deeply into the workflows of hospitals, clinics, and government agencies.

Ahmed’s experience spans multiple organizations and countries. As Commercial Director at Inma Company, he established a new digital health business line, forging partnerships with more than 13 companies and winning landmark projects like the largest infant protection system at King Fahd Medical City.

At Siemens Healthineers, he led the Digital Health & Automation department, pioneering AI solutions for radiology and other clinical areas. His strategic initiatives positioned Siemens as a preferred partner for government and private institutions, while successfully launching the first AI-driven radiology project in the Middle East.

Ahmed’s career spans Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. He has led initiatives in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, Turkey, Pakistan, Sudan, Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Germany, France, Austria, and the United States.

This global exposure enriches his perspective, allowing him to blend international best practices with local healthcare needs. His fluency in Arabic and English, along with a working knowledge of French, enhances his ability to navigate diverse professional landscapes.
