Berlin becomes the global meeting point for AI as GITEX AI EUROPE 2026 opens tomorrow More than 800 exhibitors, 30 country pavilions and tech leaders from over 80 countries converge at Messe Berlin from 30 June – 1 July 

Berlin, Germany – 29 June 2026: Tomorrow (30 June), GITEX AI EUROPE 2026 opens at Messe Berlin, bringing together more than 800 enterprise exhibitors and AI startups for what is set to become Europe’s most internationally diverse AI and technology event. 

Organised by inD, the joint venture between Dubai World Trade Centre and Informa and the global organiser of GITEX, the event is supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises and Berlin Partner for Business and Technology. 

More than 30 national pavilions will showcase innovations spanning AI, cybersecurity, cloud, quantum computing and digital infrastructure. Seventy-five percent of exhibitors come from Europe, alongside international delegations from Belgium, Estonia, France, Italy, India, the Netherlands, Poland, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, the UAE and many others, with first-time participation from Canada, Greece and Japan. Additionally, Albania, Algeria, El Salvador, Guinea, Hong Kong, Moldova and Saudi Arabia will also participate for the first time. 

Dubai brings its digital economy to Berlin 

A total of 29 organisations from the United Arab Emirates will participate, including leading entities such as Dubai Chamber, Fujairah eGovernment, Masdar and the UAE Ministry of Economy, among others. Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy will spearhead a delegation of five scaleups, joined by key ecosystem partners including Dubai Silicon Oasis, underscoring Dubai’s expanding collaboration with Europe’s tech ecosystem and its commitment to strengthening crossborder innovation pathways.

We are bringing five scaleups to Berlin, alongside ecosystem partners including Dubai Silicon Oasis, to explore collaboration and strengthen partnerships between Dubai and Europe’s technology ecosystems. We look forward to creating new channels for engagement, supporting the international growth of Dubai-based tech companies, and showcasing the latest innovations shaping the future of the digital economy.” 

Estonia unveils the future of digital government 

Estonia’s pioneering e-Residency programme will use GITEX AI EUROPE to showcase its transition towards a fully mobile, cardless digital residency experience. The biometric mobile app, expected to launch in early 2027, will enable applicants to verify their identity remotely and eventually establish an EU company using only a smartphone. The initiative is expected to reduce company formation to around two weeks while further strengthening Estonia’s position as one of the world’s leading digital societies. 

Liina Suvi Ristoja, Head of Strategic Communication at e-Residency of Estonia, said: “Estonia built a country where a company is born online in minutes, run from anywhere, and trusted across borders. Soon, it will be possible to get a secure digital ID and create an EU company in Estonia never even leaving your house, using just your phone. GITEX AI EUROPE is where we show the world what a digital state offers founders who want to grow.” 

Italy showcases the next generation of innovators 

The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) will showcase 25 startups spanning AI, deep tech, cybersecurity and industrial innovation. 

Ferdinando Fiore, Director of the Italian Trade Agency’s Berlin Office, said: “Europe already has many of the ingredients needed to become a global technology leader. The next steps must focus on reducing fragmentation, simplifying access to capital, and accelerating approvals in strategic sectors such as AI, cloud, cybersecurity and deep tech.” 

Poland presents its AI innovators 

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency will showcase innovative companies applying AI across healthcare, cybersecurity, fintech, manufacturing and voice technologies. 

Łukasz Chrabański, Head of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Frankfurt Office, highlighted: “AI is no longer about future potential — it is already transforming industries today. In Poland, companies are using AI in healthcare, cybersecurity, fintech, manufacturing and voice technologies, helping businesses become more efficient, secure and competitive. Our goal at the event is to introduce our vibrant, high-potential innovative companies to global markets.” 

Türkiye highlights its growing AI ecosystem 

Invest in Türkiye will spotlight the country’s rapidly expanding innovation ecosystem through four technology companies specialising in AI-powered e-commerce, predictive analytics, weather intelligence and digital transformation. The pavilion will also promote GITEX AI Türkiye, taking place on 9–10 September at the Istanbul Expo Center.

Beyond the international pavilions, GITEX AI EUROPE 2026 will bring together policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors and global technology leaders to explore the next phase of AI adoption and digital transformation. Across dedicated exhibition zones and conference stages covering AI, quantum computing, cloud, cybersecurity and data centres, discussions will focus on strengthening Europe’s innovation capacity while building deeper international collaboration and investment.
