Sphere Westfield Business Accelerator Opens Doors for Local Entrepreneurs

Low- to moderate-income entrepreneurs who reside and/or operate a registered business in Westfield can now benefit from an excellent growth opportunity through the Sphere Westfield Mindshift Business Accelerator. This is a very intensive (eight weeks) educational program that offers local businesses the chance to grow by mixing organized education, one, on, one coaching, and getting access to necessary professional services.
The project is supported by a $50, 000 grant given to Sphere Northampton via the Westfield Community Development Block Grant. Sphere Northampton, a nonprofit that helps entrepreneurs throughout Western Massachusetts, is extending its well-tested accelerator model to the business community in Westfield, which is rapidly growing. After witnessing great results with the past groups, the leaders Megan Allen, Dee Dice, and Kasey Corsello decided to bring the program that had been held in other cities to Westfield for the very first time.
Ten handpicked entrepreneurs will be engaged in an exclusive training course covering business planning, marketing, financial advisory, leadership development, and mentorship. At the same time, the participants will get a three-month LIVEPLAN subscription as well as a $1, 900 allowance for professional services (legal, branding, and/or accounting support).
Taking place weekly from Feb. 24 to April 14, the program’s goal is to equip entrepreneurs with enough agents of change skills not only for them to survive but for them to build sustainable and successful businesses as well.
